Education, alone can’t enlighten the people

The Indian democracy is the largest democracy, a sovereign country of the second largest population of the world, containing diversity in her cultural, one of the oldest civilization, great legendry,  paving a wave towards being a superpower, yet still influenced with the concept of discrimination. Some regular news glimpses, which I am sure more or less everyone is aware with.

coverage 1, - in  Madurai –Tamilnadu, two married girls were not allowed to take admission in school as their marriage status will influence other students.
2-in Kolkata, A girl of 5th standard was forced to drink her own urine as a punishment for wetting her own bed. This must felt a humiliation to her  but she may't know the H of Humiliate emotion. For her it is going to be a fear which  remarked early in her life might remain in her latter days
3- Dalit/ tribe people exclusion and their exploitation in the name of sometime untouchability or naxalism , poor excluded people do not even know their civil rights, their constitutional reservation which has been given to them for ascending them towards the main stream.
4- Indian Women representation   in both the houses of parliament, yesterday newspaper shared a data world-wide women representation of women is increasing,  india stand 98th nation.  India which has be started to seen as a next superpower ,  the women representation is still  stagnating. Empowering them constitutionally with one third In PRI institution, we sure had a given a magic stick to practice self-government but forgot to enlighten them for the implication part. There are no of cases where they had been influenced on their decision from their close family member or surrounding. When the day will come when we will start respecting our women, rather only looking them as a gender subject.
3- Muslim the second largest population representative of the country,  is still facing a closed door behavior  in the  educated, cultured society of our metro cities because they believed to be Muslim first then a citizen of democratic country. Intolerance of other religions exits in the mind and in most cases it is the result of the what people see their ancestors  practising, if one try to reason with them the answer is  “ We don’t have problem but our neighbors and relatives will not approve”
It reminds me about the apartheid which was practiced in South Africa till 1990es.  It created a legal discrimination between the white and black (ASIAN + African black), White were superior, they were understood born masters for black there was pass and permit should be there to be in their own country, they were not allowed to travelled , they were not allowed to entered white people society, can’t marry or have relations with white.  Black were Considered a second grade citizen.
Today we talk about the corruption, political restructuring, GDP, India to be next superpower, missile technology (large no rural India doesn't have a proper sanitised toilettes)
Recalling Mahatma Gandhi stayagrah for freedom, did he only pursue a dream of freedom from foreigner and self-rule? No the freedom he wanted was just not political, freedom for him is freedom for each and every citizen of India, that represent the genuine equality away from discrimination and protection of the dignity of each citizen of the country,  A political guarantee of fundamental right to every citizen of the democratic republic India
